SnugTales ("we," "our," or "us") operates the SnugTales mobile application. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely and never in plain text).
Family profile: To personalize stories, you may provide your children's first names, ages, and story preferences (themes, characters, moral lessons). This information is provided voluntarily by you, the parent or guardian.
Usage data: We collect basic logs of app activity (e.g. stories generated, features used) to improve the service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
SnugTales is designed for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All accounts are created and managed by adults. Children's names and ages entered into the app are used solely to personalize stories and are not shared with third parties.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database provider. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
