The Little Boat That Found the Harbor

Far out on the wide, dark sea, a little wooden boat named Bo bobbed all alone.

The day had been full of fun — sailing and splashing and chasing the waves. But now the sun had set, the sky was deep and blue, and Bo was very far from home.

“Which way do I go?” Bo wondered, gently rocking on the water. Everything looked dark. Everything looked the same.

But then, far, far away across the sea, Bo saw a tiny light. A single warm and golden glow, winking softly through the dark. It was the lighthouse of the harbor — home.

“That way,” Bo said. “I’ll follow the light.”

And so the little boat began to sail, slow and steady, toward the warm little glow. The waves rocked him gently — sway, sway, sway — as if the sea itself were helping him along.

The light grew bigger. And brighter. And closer.

Soon Bo could see the sleepy harbor, with all the other boats tied up snug and safe for the night, bobbing quietly side by side.

Bo slipped into his own cozy spot at the dock. A gentle rope hugged him close. The water was calm and still.

“Home,” Bo sighed happily.

The lighthouse glowed warmly over the harbor, keeping watch. The stars came out. And the little boat that had been so far away rocked softly, safely, sleepily to sleep.

The end.
